This has been a year of change for me. After spending our entire lives living in Maryland, my wife and I relocated Fernandina Beach, Florida. It took some doing, but I have a new studio to work in and a whole new landscape to explore. So here are twelve of my favorite photo moments of 2025.

2024 seems to be flying by. The first quarter is over, winter is behind us, and it is now April. Spring is breaking out here in Maryland. It is time to stop and smell the flowers! But where to go to smell them? For me, spring means it’s time for a morning or two at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD.

If you’ve been following my work for a while, you may have noticed that I like sunrises. There is a peace and quiet to that time of day that tends to absorb me. Sunrises can be fabulous but fleeting. Trying to grab them with your camera can take a little work. Here’s a little insight to my quest for spectacular sunrises.
